Verification Methodology

We review whether a link is on an official manufacturer or vendor domain, whether the page is intended for support/download/manual use, and whether the model, product family, OS, region, or content type matches the user intent.

Useful signals include vendor branding, HTTPS, support-site navigation, release dates, version numbers, operating-system selectors, product-family pages, PDF/manual metadata, license pages, and redirect behavior.

Verified means the page has been manually reviewed as an official route for the listed product or family. Needs review means the item needs more review, may be a family-level route, or may require model/region/OS confirmation before a user relies on it.

If a vendor publishes checksums or signatures, those are stronger evidence. Self-computed hashes or file-signing observations can help review but should not be presented as vendor guarantees unless the vendor published them.
